Painting, Ceramic Casting & Scented Ceramics Workshop

Discover a creative workshop of about 2.5 hours in which you cast figurines from ceramic powder, paint decorative objects and create scented wardrobe fresheners, personalized with shapes and fragrances of your choice.

You will enjoy three creative activities in a single experience: casting ceramic powder, painting and making scented ceramics. No previous experience is needed. You will receive explanations and guidance throughout the workshop, in a relaxed atmosphere where you can experiment and create in your own style.

What you will create during the workshop

In about 2.5 hours, you will discover how to turn a simple material into decorative, scented objects that you can personalize to your own taste.

• You will cast an object from ceramic powder. You will learn how the material is prepared and poured into molds to create decorative objects.
• You will paint figurines or decorative vessels. You can choose from the objects prepared for the workshop and personalize them with the colors and details you like.
• You will create scented wardrobe fresheners (scented ceramics). You will choose the ceramic figurines to paint and scent, turning them into small decorative objects that act as passive fragrance diffusers.
• You will choose your favorite fragrances. You will discover the options available and personalize your fresheners to your preferences.

The shapes, objects available for painting and fragrances may vary depending on the season and the theme of the workshop.

What is ceramic powder?

Ceramic powder is a fine material that, once mixed with water, can be poured into molds to create figurines and decorative objects with various designs and details. After casting, the objects air-dry and can then be painted and personalized.

During the workshop, you will learn how the material is prepared, how it is poured into molds and how a simple mixture can become a decorative object made by you. All the objects you make can be taken home at the end, and they will finish drying afterwards under normal conditions.

What are scented ceramics?

Scented ceramics are porous ceramic figurines that absorb fragrance and release it gradually. They work as passive fragrance diffusers and can be placed in wardrobes, drawers or other small spaces to give them a pleasant scent.

Unlike an electric diffuser, scented ceramics need no power or flame. During the workshop, you will choose the figurines, paint them and select your favorite fragrance to create your own wardrobe fresheners.

When the fragrance fades, the fresheners can be refreshed by applying 5–10 drops of a fragrance oil suitable for this use. You can use a fragrance you already have at home or buy your favorite scents at the workshop to refresh them later.

A creative experience, adapted to the season

The MYGRACE workshop adapts to the season and to the theme prepared for each period. From figurines and decorative vessels in warm autumn shades to objects inspired by the winter holidays, every edition can bring different shapes, colors and fragrances.

Depending on the season, you may paint nature-inspired objects, festive decorations or other designs prepared for the workshop. The theme, shapes and materials available may vary from one period to another.

What you take home

You will take home the decorative objects and scented fresheners you made and personalized (1 decorative object cast by you from ceramic powder, painted ceramic figurines and 1–2 wardrobe fresheners decorated, painted and scented by you), along with the joy of a creative experience shared with people you care about.

The workshop is a chance to try something new, work with your hands and enjoy a few hours with creativity at the center.

Ceramic powder air-dries, so all the objects made during the workshop can be taken home at the end. They will finish drying afterwards at home, under normal conditions.
